Etoile: Stitching with DMC’s Newest Range

Etoile threads are lighter and softer to touch than the regular range. They have a fluffiness to them, in contrast to the metallic range, which is more stiff.

To better avoid the threads fraying, it is recommended that the ends are conditioned with a little beeswax/thread conditioner. Alternatively dabbing a bit of water on the ends helps smooth out the kinks enough to pull it through the needle without knotting.

The sparkle is not all over like DMC’s Metallic threads and they are easier to stitch with because of their softness.

The 35 colours match the regular colours so you can mix strands for a more subtle effect.
